WhiteOaks secures two new £1.4m contracts by Somerset Redstone Trust

The three-year deals will see WhiteOaks deliver soft facilities management services including catering, cleaning and laundry services to two of the Trust’s care homes. Under a new contract with The Orchards Crewkerne, a 46 bed care home, WhiteOaks will provide these services from August 2012. A second contract will commence at Signature House in Dorchester, a new development opening in September 2012. The state-of-the-art care home comprises 48 beds and 42 close care apartments with communal facilities.

Caterer Kudos wins Premiership contract

The contract, worth an estimated £12 million in total turnover, will see Kudos provide food matchday services in the club’s corporate boxes, hospitality suites, public retail outlets, and bars. As part of the deal, which commenced on the 1st July, Kudos will also look after all non-matchday catering and venue management at the stadium, which includes corporate events, private parties and weddings at the club’s multi-use conference centre and events space.

As the first contract caterer to use QR codes for nutritional information, Vacherin’s customers can now get instant detailed nutritional information on their smart phones by scanning QR codes on point of sale materials alongside the new healthy dishes. The new range will sit alongside Vacherin’s existing food offer and initially focus on grab and go style dishes but will be expanded every month to encompass all elements of Vacherin’s menus.
