This concept involves grinding the food waste at a Food Waste Station at kitchen level and transporting it by means of a vacuum system to a central, compact storage location which is just 2m2 in size. The food waste is dewatered - reducing its volume by up to 80% which enables significant reductions in food waste disposal costs, providing hygienic working conditions in the kitchen and eliminating any food waste to drain issues.
