Abstract
Metcalfe Catering Equipment has expanded its portfolio with the new Ceado ES500 commercial juice extractor.
The centrifugal model features a polished motor housing, topped with a stainless steel bowl and juicer basket, looking typically Italian on the countertop. Extra large rubber feet ensure that the unit – which measures 240 x 380 x 490mm - is stable on any surface.
The 75mm feed chute on top can handle all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables, and is wide enough to take a whole apple, with no chopping or peeling required.
A safety locking arm means that all parts stop moving once the bar is lifted making it easy to use for unskilled staff. The bowl and filter can then be lifted out for cleaning. All parts in contact with food, except for the pulp container, are dishwasher safe, and easy to dismantle without tools.
