The Food for Life Award was presented to Michelle Povey, head cook at St Ronan’s Primary School, in Innerleithen.

The campaign aimed to encourage primary school children to make healthier meal choices at school by offering children extra portions of fruit and vegetables.  

It is the second week of the #EatThemToDefeatThem campaign that started after research found 80% of children aren’t eating enough vegetables.
