Fresh Montgomery, which runs the show, has also unveiled James Tanner as chef director for its Salon Culinaire.
The 2014 event will over four days format and be located in one extended hall to avoid the disruption of the central boulevard. It will also feature dedicated networking hubs with the aim of hospitality business activity.
The Salon Culinaire includes Live Theatre classes, fine dining experience, La Parade de Chefs, and Salon Display, with display entries on show down the central aisle to give them a higher profile.
Toby Wand, managing director at Fresh Montgomery, said: “With a brand new look and a new date in the calendar, Hotelympia 2014 is set to unite the very best of Catering Equipment, Food & Drink, Tabletop, Design and Technology, plus Salon Culinaire, under one roof.
“Also with a continued focus on sustainability we will be launching a new co-located event on waste management solutions in the hospitality environment, titled ‘Waste Works’.
“The changes to the event overall have been implemented to further improve the experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, and encourage greater dwell times, while moving to a date later in the year will mean we can maximise the longer days to full business effect.”
