Three East of England school chefs competed at the Regional Final where they had 90 minutes to prepare four portions of a main course and a dessert suitable for 11-year-olds.
Jones is employed by Denbighshire County Council and is based at Ysgol Twm O’r Nant primary school.
The percentage of packed lunches meeting food standards rose from 1% in 2006 to just 1.6% in 2016.
The regional winners were Sara Franklin (East Midlands Regional Final) and Lee Taylor (West Midlands Regional Final).
