The winners were Lucy Gouge, aged 9, from Five Ways Primary School in Cannock, Staffordshire, and Sophie Taylor Keates, aged 10, from Glenthorne Community Primary School in Walsall, Staffordshire.
Being nominated for a LACA award gives a sense of prestige and honour at a personal level and raises the professional reputation of the organisation or school employing award winners.
The duo will also talk about the school year ahead as Stephen will be passing the baton to Jacquie who will become the chair of LACA.
The competition aims to show the high quality of school meals and the contribution they make to the health and wellbeing of children.
