World Cheese Awards – open for entries

More than 200 leading cheese buyers, retail experts, chefs and food journalists will judge at the awards this year which will be staged in a dedicated hall alongside the famous BBC Good Food Show. The World Cheese Awards has continued to grow for over 20 years. Last year, the awards reached new heights by securing a Guinness World Records title for the World's Largest Cheeseboard (see image above). John Farrand, director of the Guild of Fine Food, the organiser of the World Cheese Awards, said: "The World Cheese Awards 2011 will be an irresistible magnet to every cheese lover. Never before will so many cheeses, entered by international cheese-makers not UK wholesalers or retailers, have been on offer for tasting by British consumers."
