Workplace caterer Pow Food launches Nutritional Educational Programme
Abstract
Pow Food, the UK’s first female founded B Corp-certified catering company, is setting a new industry standard as the only UK catering company to combine nutrition education with its ‘award winning’ food services.

Through this programme organisations gain access to balanced, nutrient-rich meals alongside expert-led educational workshops, available both in-person and online. These lunch and learn sessions are led by nutrition experts, designed to inspire, educate, and reinforce the role of nutrition in workplace wellness.

Pow Food delivers nutritionally designed catering solutions that accommodate varying budgets and dietary requirements, fuelling productivity while supporting long-term employee health.

Emily Warbourton Adams, co-founder of Pow Food, said: “We are proud to launch our Nutritional Education Programme, the first of its kind, an initiative designed to equip organisations with the tools and knowledge needed to support employee wellbeing and performance through food. We hope to empower businesses in prioritising employee health holistically.”

The Mental Health Foundation states that ‘one of the most obvious yet under-recognised factors in the development of mental health is nutrition’, highlighting the direct link between diet, cognitive function and overall wellbeing.

In 2024, the number of people unable to work due to long-term sickness in the UK reached a record high of 2.82 million, a figure that has been rising since 2019.

Ali Warburton, chief executive and co-founder of Pow Food, added: "Every bite of food we take is either brain fuel or brain fog, and companies are waking up to the fact that educating their workforce in good nutrition is the cornerstone of wellness in the workplace."
