Women 1st Conference to host Q&A with Margaret Hodge and Lynne Franks

Margaret Hodge MP will appear in a lunchtime Q&A hosted by PR guru Lynne Franks at the second annual Women 1st Conference to be held on 19 June at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

Delegates will be offered a programme of motivational speakers including Susan Gambardella (vice president of the global account team for Coca-Cola Refreshments) and Liz Bingham (Ernst & Young’s managing partner - people for UK and Ireland and ambassador for diversity and inclusivity).

There will also be an informal panel session with industry leaders including Robin Rowland, CEO of YO! Sushi, Andy Woodfield, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Susan Cully, managing director of Marlin Apartments.

The Women 1st Conference 2013 will include interactive workshops covering communication skills and networking, hosted by Smarter Networking, Reflexion Associates Ltd and The Impact Coach.

Heather White, CEO, Smarter Networking will host ‘Networking - what’s your value?’ This session will help delegates adopt a proactive and positive view to networking, challenge the mind set of what networking is supposed to do and how it really works, identifying and using its real value in career and business relationships.

‘Your leadership story,’ hosted by Jenny Garrett, director, Reflexion Associates Ltd. is designed to help delegates understand why personal leadership stories are critical to career and business success. Garrett will show delegates how to craft their story effortlessly and unlock its value.

Susie Hall, managing director, The Impact Coach, will host ‘Presenting your way to the top’. As communicating effectively is now more important than ever, she will show delegates the simple secrets of powerful memorable and compelling presentations, how to increase personal charisma and the power of your personal brand and how to communicate and leverage it.
