Abstract
Westminster Kingsway College hosted the College's Old Students Association annual lunch, which this year celebrated the School of Hospitality's centenary year.
Over 100 guests attended the celebration, held in the college's famous Vincent Rooms restaurant, and enjoyed a menu of wild salmon, lamb cutlets and bread and butter pudding cooked and served by college staff and students.
A special celebration cake for the Old Students Association to mark the School of Hospitality's centenary year was prepared by the college's patisserie team and was presented to the Association after their lunch.
The honour of cutting the cake went to two of the oldest members of the Association – Denis Lee aged 88 who studied at the College from 1936-38 and Ron Kinton aged 89 who studied at the college from 1936-39.
Kevin Colclough-Noble, chairman of the Old Students Association, said: "It is fantastic to see so many familiar faces past and present here at the College for the centenary lunch and to celebrate the College's many achievements."
