Abstract
Tag, an international design and production agency, has appointed a specialist business to manage the café deli bar at its prestigious London head office based in Clerkenwell.
Accent Catering has been awarded the rolling contract worth in excess of £170k per annum and will also be responsible for providing hospitality for clients and visitors both at the office and also at external events. This was previously organised and served by reception staff with the café being operated by a local sandwich shop. Accent has appointed a team of three full time staff to run the operation headed up by a Deli Manager. Gordon Haggarty, managing director at Accent Catering, said: "As part of the tender process we organised a trial day at the office and showcased the proposed food and beverage offerings for all staff. It was very successful and helped to prove that we were the best possible partner for Tag. "This contract is not without its challenges as there are only limited facilities, no kitchen and very little storage. However we have applied some creative thinking and are delivering a top end service and the feedback has been excellent."
