Abstract
Food and drink travel operator SSP has introduced The Camden Bar & Kitchen to Stansted Airport – offering an all-day menu of ‘traditional’ classics alongside a rotating street-food menu.

Set over two floors, the 350-cover restaurant has a bar on both floors as well as a downstairs deli for grab-and-go. Drinks will include a variety of beers, including Camden Hells Lager and Camden Pale Ale, wines and cocktails.

Food-wise, traditional classics such as fish and chips, steak egg and chips, and salads, will sit alongside Thai and Indian-influenced street food.

It will also feature an array of Camden street-food vendors in rotation, designed to offer a “truly authentic menu to visiting tourists passing through the airport.”

SSP UK & Ireland chief executive, Simon Smith, said: “The Camden Bar & Kitchen transforms one of the largest and most prominent spaces in the airside departure lounge into a modern eclectic restaurant, reflecting the spirit of contemporary London and its most famous food market.”
