The contract will also take in Talisman’s Flotta terminal, its Aberdeen office premises and the Gyda installation off the Norwegian coast (the latter awarded by Talisman Energy Norge AS).
The combined contracts, which have been awarded following an extensive competitive bid process, have secured nearly 300 jobs.
Lindsay Tocher, Sodexo’s chief operating officer for global offshore and marine operations, said: “We are delighted to achieve such strong results in the current economic climate with a solid business portfolio.
“In the last three years we have achieved 100% client retention, working closely with our existing clients to develop unique solutions to support the long-term sustainability of their business.
“This reflects well on the great job done by our people who always rise to the challenge of continuous improvement. Clearly, our service and outstanding HSE culture and performance set us apart from the competition.”
“Sodexo has been the incumbent on our assets over the past eight years and have held the contract for more than 30 years at Flotta. They have committed to approach the new contract with the same enthusiasm that they have demonstrated in the past.
“In evaluating the tenders, what stood out for the team was Sodexo's shared commitment in creating the best place to work and in supporting a safety culture at Talisman with their flexibility, innovation and service improvements,” said Geoff Holmes, senior vice president, Talisman Energy (UK) Limited.
