Abstract
Sodexo Prestige has been awarded a multi-million pound contract extension to deliver both soft and hard FM (facilities management) services to ING Bank at its UK headquarters in London.

The three-year contract, worth nearly £5m a year in turnover, will see Sodexo Prestige continue to provide a full FM service offer, including catering, cleaning, reception, switchboard and help desk as well as services like mechanical and electrical engineering.

The services provider has a staff of 80 delivering fully integrated facilities management at ING Bank’s offices at 60 London Wall.

The original contract with ING started more than 25 years ago when the company provided catering services only, but the partnership has grown since.

Chris John, managing director, Sodexo Prestige and Corporate Services, said: “We are thrilled to be continuing our long-standing relationship with ING Bank and working together successfully integrating a full FM service model.

“Our achievement has been made possible by working in a true partnership with the client, understanding their needs and working hard to help them achieve their strategic objectives.”

Mike Smith, head of premises and facilities at ING Bank, said: “Sodexo Prestige has committed to approach the new contract with the same enthusiasm that they have demonstrated in the past. The team share our commitment to creating an excellent working environment and always rise to the challenge of continuous improvement.”
