Abstract
Have you got a head for heights and are feeling adventurous? If so, Hospitality Action needs you.
It is holding two fundraising parachute days during Hospitality Action Week 2010 – on Friday, May 21, in Maidstone, and Saturday, May 22, in Salisbury – for those wanting to experience the thrill of a 10,000ft fall but more importantly raise money for their industry charity. All parachutists will be attached to a professional instructor for this 'tandem skydive' event and will receive full training on the day. No experience is necessary and all that's required to take part is £395 in sponsorship funds. CEO Penny Moore said: "We raised a phenomenal £100,000 from our first ever HA week in 2009. This is just one of the many fundraising activities that is taking place this year and we hope that our thrill seeking supporters will make a significant contribution to the 2010 funds." HA says that those unable to get to Maidstone or Salisbury but would still like to skydive for the charity, alternative locations can be arranged.
