Abstract
Simon Hulstone, head chef at the Michelin-starred, Elephant restaurant in Torquay, has been named as one of the Ambassador chefs in Nestlé Professional' s recently launched Chef Club.
The Club has been designed to support young chefs by providing inspiration and collaboration along with access to offers, promotions, industry events and masterclasses.
Emma Walker, Chef brand manager at Nestlé Professional, said: "Simon is one of the UK's most talented chefs and recently faced one of his toughest challenges yet in the Bocuse d'Or. He's also passionate about spotting and training up new talent and it's this attitude that makes him perfect for his role as Chef ambassador."
Hulstone commented on the announcement: "I count myself very lucky to have had these opportunities and now I want to give back to the industry, sharing my knowledge and experiences with the next generation of chefs. I'm delighted to have been selected as an ambassador for Chef Club and I look forward to working with the Nestlé Professional team in the coming months."
