The £4m deal will see AiP service the south London schools, made up of primary, secondary and one special school, for the next three years starting from 2018.
As part of the contract, the caterer will introduce new menus and roll out its ‘Food Smart’ primary school branding and ‘Feed Me’ secondary school branding, which it says is tailored to the needs of each.
The contract win follows the company’s acquisition of Kent-based The Contract Dining Company last week, which will see AiP increase its school meal provision in the south East of England.
Over the last 19 years, AiP has expanded from its Oldbury, West Midlands base to provide over 75,000 meals a day in schools and colleges nationwide.
It is one of 38 dedicated school caterers to have achieved the Soil Association's Food for Life Gold Standard.
