Abstract
The Sake Sommelier Association has launched the UK's first professional Sake Sommelier Qualifications.
There are two courses, the first being a one day session for people who want to learn about the basics of Japanese Saké. This is already taught and recognised by Japan's Service Institute of Japan (SSI). Priced at £100 per person, the course will take place on Monday 21 September at Nippon Club in London.
Meanwhile the two-day course, which will focus on more in-depth knowledge of Sake, will take place on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 October at the WSET tasting rooms in the The International Wine and Spirit Centre, and will be priced at £230 per person.
Students who pass the exam will become Certified Sake Sommeliers, and receive the Sake Sommelier Certificate and Pin for their achievement.
A reduction of 15% will be on offer for those who apply for the course before the 1 September. To register, follow this link: www.sakesommelierassociation.com or contact: gilbert@sakesommelierassociation.com
