Abstract
Retail Human Resources (RHR), recruitment business for the retail industry, has launched a new consultancy for the hospitality and leisure sector.
Hospitality & Leisure Recruitment (HLR) is headed by Roddy Watt, founder and former chief executive of Berkeley Scott Group. Day to day operational responsibility rests with Gary Heather, an RHR director for 18 years. RHR says the new enterprise will be backed by the considerable reputation, resources, infrastructure and financial strength of "a well-established business with a national presence". The consultancy will initially comprise two offices based in Bristol and London. The Bristol office is headed up by Sally Wigg, previously manager of Berkeley Scott's London office. Her team of two – soon to be three – comprises fellow former Berkeley Scott employee Charlotte Taylor and Adam Probets from Lister Charles. The London office houses a start-up team of six consultants. HLR expects the team will expand across a broader spectrum of associated professional areas including sales and marketing and human resources. By the end of 2010, the company hopes to employ 24 consultants and by the end of 2011, 40. Director Watt says the current team is exceptional: "They are all highly experienced recruiters who are totally focused on the delivery [of] truly outstanding levels of service to our clients."
