The company has also announced what managing director Simon Tupper called “a significant strengthening” of its senior management team.
Tupper himself, who has been with the company for 15 years, has become MD, and Jenny Roberts will be joining Colin Cook as an operations director and Denise Davis has become chief accountant.
Over the past 25 years Redcliffe has grown from a single contract to the point where it now operates at more than 50 locations, employs 360 full and part time staff and generates an annual turnover in excess of £15m.
Tupper said: “We remain absolutely committed to our clients, some of which have been with us from the beginning, providing quality service and excellent food is the core philosophy of Redcliffe, we really do ensure we understand their needs and deliver.
“The market in certain sectors, such as conference and banqueting remains difficult, but this has given us the opportunity and drive to expand into other areas, such as the education market and assisted living, which have been less affected by the recession.
“We are now providing over 100,000 meals a day for students in schools and colleges, at over 35 schools and College campuses, located in the wider Midlands area.”
