The inter services catering competition is held at the Defence Capability Centre at the Defence Academy, Shrivenham and is the only event of its type. The event includes a 6 station competition theatre, field kitchen competition classes, a parade de chefs, salon culinaire, 50 stand exhibition and mass catering challenge. It is also set in a military environment amongst preserved tanks, guns, simulators and a variety of other military vehicles all of which guests are encouraged to have a look around.
The event takes place over 3 days (11th-13th October 2016) and each day is themed to one of the services:
11th – Royal Air Force Day
12th – Army Day
13th – Royal Navy Day
The invite to the PS100 group includes coffee at the VIP reception area and lunch at either the Parade de Chefs or the Defence Influence Challenge. You are welcome to attend on the day of your choice, we just ask that you let us know which day you will be attending and whether or not you would like lunch. Because the Defence Academy is a military base you will need to be on a guest list and to carry photographic id with you.
