New appointment at Institute of Hospitality

Abstract
Simon Bull has been appointed as director of business development, marketing and communications for the Institute of Hospitality; the professional body for managers working and studying in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.
Bull will focus his efforts on the Institute of Hospitality and will promote the value of the quality standard Hospitality Assured created by the Institute. Bull brings a wealth of experience with him from a variety of professions. He has previously worked in national and international marketing roles at IMechE, Association of MBAs, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He commented on the move: "I am very pleased to join the Institute of Hospitality and am looking forward to working with the members and all levels of the hospitality industry to ensure we keep the Institute relevant, modern and progressive. "The Institute has a proud history and part of my role will be to continue to build its profile and reveal its initiatives, such as the industry benchmark Hospitality Assured, to as wide a national and international audience as possible."
