Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust renews partnership with Sodexo

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust has extended Sodexo health & care’s catering and soft FM services contract for a further four years to 2027.

Sodexo’s 1,900 employees will continue to deliver services at Wythenshawe Hospital as well as the Trust’s Oxford Road Campus (ORC) which includes Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, University Dental Hospital of Manchester, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Saint Mary’s Hospital for Women and Neonates. 

The new contract starts in October 2023 and is worth in excess of £240 million. Services include patient dining, retail catering, portering, domestic services, receipt & distribution as well as helpdesk and transport.

Sodexo manages a number of food outlets including Subway, Costa and Starbucks and will continue to deliver its Kitchen Works by Sodexo offer at the staff and visitor restaurants at both Wythenshawe Hospital and the Oxford Road Campus.
