Abstract
Lindsay Graham, a former independent government policy adviser specialising in food and public health, has won the Lifetime Excellence Award at the Scottish School Food Awards.

The Lifetime Excellence Award is given to an ‘outstanding personality who has, over the course of their career, demonstrated a unique and exceptional commitment to improving catering within the education sector in Scotland’.

Lindsay’s interest areas still include - food insecurity, child hunger, children’s learning environments, health inequalities, school nutrition and health improvement programmes, children and families affected by disability, food aid projects, extended schools, breakfast and holiday provision programmes.

She chaired the Holiday Hunger Task Force on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on School Food, which aims to tackle the issue of school holiday food insecurity.

Lindsay was named on the Public Sector Catering’s ‘Most Influential’ list in 2021. She is active on social media to network, share best practice and campaign for all her areas of interest.
