LACA encourages caterers to register for School Food Show
Abstract
Running alongside the LACA Main Event Forum on 3-4th July is the free-to-attend School Food Show which aims to provide visitors with the opportunity to meet suppliers and manufacturers who can offer products and solutions to help them.

The School Food Show is an unrivalled opportunity to source new ideas and innovations and compare a range of suppliers under one roof. Over 175 exhibitors will showcase food and beverages, equipment, systems and services.

The School Food Show is free-to-attend for School caterers, managers and contract caterers. Key features of the School Food Show:

  • School Food Exhibition: It is the only UK event dedicated to catering in education
  • School Chef of the Year (SCOTY) competition: 12 school chefs will be competing for the national title
  • Grab ‘N’ Go Challenge: Three school chefs will create their breaktime snack
  • Finishing Touches: A culinary salon competition where school chefs display their craft pieces
  • LACA Live: Five cooking demonstrations including one from LACA ambassador Mark Sargeant
  • Workshops: The three LACA workshops are free to attend for both visitors and delegates
