JJ Food Service wins four-year contract on YPO framework

Abstract
JJ Food Service has been awarded a four-year contract on the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) framework, in a move that is expect to boost business with the local authority and education sector.

The Enfield-based foodservice specialist has eight branches across the UK including Doncaster, Leeds, Manchester and Aston, making it well-positioned to supply the geographical area of more than 100 YPO members, which cover local authority areas such as schools, colleges, universities and all major local government departments.

Business development manager for JJ Michelle Morgan said: “We offer high-quality frozen, chilled and ambient products at sustainable prices. All our customers benefit from the support of a dedicated contracts telesales team and contracts manager.”

Michelle Morgan added that JJ are fully-prepared for changes to the new allergen regulations: “We work with local and national suppliers that are preparing to be fully-compliant with the new allergen regulations in time for the December 13th deadline and have the following accreditations: ISO9001, ISO14001, STS and OHSAS18001.”

The YPO is a procurement service that allows public sector customers to enjoy cost and efficiency savings through bulk buying power. JJ is a specialist foodservice company that delivers from eight branches around the UK to cafes and coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels, quick service restaurants, schools and local authorities.
