The foodservice equipment specialist was chosen following a formal tender process and was successful in all three of the lots it tendered for.
David Riley, who is responsible for warewash and food prep equipment at the company said: “We have been working in partnership with the Government sector for over a century – in fact our first customer in the UK was a hospital.
“To have been successful on all three lots for food preparation, cooking, warewashing and waste disposal is an enormous achievement and a reflection of our catering equipment excellence.”
Ian Garner, managing director of the Hobart UK cooking eqiuipment, added: “We are delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with GPS and to be considered suitable to supply catering equipment under the three lots.”
And colleague Roger Kellow, the supplier’s government business manager added: “We understand and appreciate every sector has its own needs, given the scope and demands of the public sector procurement, it was right to demand excellence of the supply chain.
