Abstract
Heinz Foodservice is launching an ongoing campaign to encourage caterers to think about the sauces they use back of house and how different flavours can make their menus more profitable.
The scheme aims to bring added value by breaking down the cupboard essentials with recipe suggestions, menu support by season and extended support through offers and promotions. It will include an A5 seasonal magazine featuring recipes, hints and tips, case studies, and free prize draws. Claire Kemp, brand manager for Heinz Foodservice, said the campaign was being launched to answer a call for more assistance back of house: "Since we re-launched our back of house range just over a year ago, with a new look, new products and new sizes, we have been repeatedly asked by both caterers and wholesalers if we could provide more advice to make operations more lucrative." She continued: "In order for us to provide solutions to the caterer that are relevant, we have targeted certain products from our range and demonstrated how we work with particular occasions. This approach allows us to provide value that is relevant and has resonance with the caterers priorities at different times throughout the year." The magazines will be focusing on Summer Eating and Barbecues with sauces including Heinz bbq, HP grilling sauce, HP steak sauce, Heinz salsa and Heinz burger relish.
