The free-range egg producer, the happy egg co. scooped two accolades in this year's Drum Marketing Awards ceremony.
The accolades are the Brand Award Category for the best New Product/Service Launch Strategy of the Year and the overall Chairman's Award for its innovative egg brand. Rob Newell, head of marketing for the happy egg co., said: "We are absolutely delighted to have won the Brand Award Category and to scope the Chairman's Award was the icing on the cake – to win two awards at such a prestigious event is a fantastic achievement for the brand. "With several new product developments planned for the year ahead, 2010 is shaping up to be a very exciting and busy time for the happy egg co." The Drum Marketing Awards reward the most inspirational marketing strategies and new product initiatives. In addition, the happy egg co. has been nominated for the Marketing Week Engage Awards which will take place on 18th May and earlier in the year scooped the silver prize in the best new Dairy Category at the 2010 Grocer Food & Drink Awards.
