Industry leaders will gather at the NEC in Birmingham for the Great Hospitality Show over the next three days.

The show will feature the latest food, drink and equipment product innovations, including newcomers iKloud communications app Krupps, Pepper the humanoid robot, and Ice Cool Services.

At the Salon Culinaire there will be a range of new live classes, including the vegan challenge, cheese starter and breakfast power bowls, plus the Skills Theatre will have its first outing at the show.

Glynn Purnell will headline The Staff Canteen Live showcasing a host of dishes from the menus of his Michelin-starred restaurant in Birmingham.

A PS100 Culinary Showcase will take place on Tuesday, featuring chefs and cooks from the public sector. Theyw ill have one to produce a main and dessert using the same key ingredients that will also be constrained by budget and nutritional guidelines.

Later in the day at the business briefing stage, PS100 chair Andy Jones will host a panel discussion on how the hospitality industry can meet the nutritional needs of the nation with industry leaders Sally Shadrack (LACA), Neel Radia (NACC), Phil Shelley (HCA), and Matthew White (TUCO). On Wednesday a debate will take place on the apprenticeship levy, which will feature Annette Allmark from People 1st and Karen Davies from Casual Dining Group.

The show is open from 9.30am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
