Abstract
Venue and event catering company, Grazing, has appointed Michael Barnes as its new head chef.

The newly created role will see Barnes take on the management of the company’s production kitchens and work alongside executive chef Robbie Lorraine to develop menus and train young chefs.

Prior to the appointment, Barnes was working for Swan at The Globe and also has experience working for By Word of Mouth Catering and Rhubarb where he previously worked with Lorraine.

Barnes said: “I am really excited to have joined Grazing. To have the opportunity to work with Robbie again is amazing as his enthusiasm for food and the Grazing brand is infectious. I feel so lucky to have become part of this team as we take Grazing into the future and grow together.”

The creation of the new role is part of the company's growth strategy that has included the development of its Central London facility and appointments of Ben McEwen and Blake Henderson as heads of business development and operations respectively.

The Grazing Group was established in London in 2007 and operates across the capital and south east of England.
