Abstract
Craig Varley, an apprentice from Elior UK, has been crowned Apprentice of the Year (Cookery) at the 2012 Wiltshire Apprentice Awards.
Wiltshire College's third annual ceremony, run by Wiltshire Enterprise, recognised the dedication of individuals combining their studies and work, and the businesses that support them.
Dave Smith, director, Elior Defence said: "Craig's achievements to date are outstanding and his pride in this accomplishment was clear to see. John Mackin from Elior deserves special mention for mentoring and guiding our apprentices through this period of intense training and learning. "More than ever before we're committed to engaging with local colleges and training providers to create the opportunity for all staff to reach their maximum potential."
Last year Elior was crowned Large Business Apprentice Employer of the Year at the ceremony, with judges praising the fact that it 'does not just offer a job, but a career.'
