Abstract
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has today announced the appointment of Andreas Scriven as its new head of UK hospitality and leisure, replacing Nick van Marken.
In his new role, Scriven (left) will be responsible for leading Deloitte’s hospitality and leisure practice in the UK and will be tasked with helping the broader leadership team to shape the firm’s strategy in the sector.
The former Christie & Co managing director has advised on more than £30 billion of debt exposure across the hospitality and leisure sectors in recent years, with Deloitte viewing him as an expert in commercial due diligence, strategic advice, bank support, feasibility and market analysis.
Scriven said: "This is an exciting and challenging time for the hospitality and leisure industries. It is a competitive sector that has to adapt to changing consumer habits and disruptive technology”.
