Abstract
Pritchitts, a foodservice dairy supplier, has scooped a National Big Tick Award for the second year running in recognition of the progress it has made in terms of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Pritchitts became the first local business to be presented with the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Action on Climate Change Award - part of the National Awards for Excellence. The company was praised for its continued investment in people, new processes and state-of-the-art energy efficient/low carbon technology and its commitment to be a leading environmentally-responsible manufacturing company. Simon Muschamp, head of marketing at Pritchitts, said: "Everybody at Pritchitts is delighted with this award and the recognition of the company's continuing investment in people, new processes and state-of-the-art energy efficient, low carbon technology, as well as the measures we have taken to safeguard the environment in terms of our manufacturing processes."
