Abstract
COREcruitment's managing director Krishnan Doyle and business development executive Jay Ramsay are hosting a Chinese themed event on 1st March to help raise their combined target of £14k in aid of The Springboard Charity Great Wall of China trek.
Doyle and Ramsay will be joining 22 other colleagues from the hospitality sector to trek the Great Wall of China from 23 March to 3 April for Springboard, which helps young people, the unemployed and disadvantaged groups of society gain work in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries. The fundraising event, which costs £20 per person, will kick off at 6.30pm with welcome cocktails at the Ping Pong restaurant at St Paul's, Central London. Highlights of the event include a live performance from Simply Buble, a Springboard speech, video and live auction, live dim sum demonstrations and oriental canapes which will be served throughout the evening. Ramsay is excited about the event and believes it will be a huge success: "The event is going to be really amazing. Ping Pong has been so helpful in creating an evening that really coincides with the whole Chinese theme. "We have some excellent prizes to be auctioned on the evening kindly donated by our clients and are hoping to raise a considerable amount of money on the night. Although a fundraising event, I'm hoping that everybody will just really enjoy themselves." The event will finish up at 11pm.
