Abstract
Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, has so far donated 2,000 Christmas lunches to Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, as part of a fund-raising campaign at one of the event caterer's sites.
Seasoned Events will donate £1 for every guest that attends a corporate Christmas Party at the Royal Courts of Justice. Colin Sayers, managing director for Seasoned Events, said: "We are really pleased to have raised so much already. We hope to give as much as we can for a very worthy cause during what can be an incredibly tough time for London's vulnerable homeless people. "This isn't just about raising money but also about raising awareness of the good work that the team at Crisis do every Christmas." Leslie Morphy, chief executive officer for Crisis, added: "Serving over 28,000 meals throughout Christmas week is a huge challenge. Seasoned Events' generous donation will help put hot meals on the table for many homeless and vulnerably housed people this Christmas and in turn help our guests to leave homelessness behind for good."
