Abstract
The northwest and UK specialist hospitality recruiter Berkeley Scott has been confirmed as the first recruitment business to apply for and achieve partner membership of the Northwest Chefs' Association.
The Northwest Chefs' Association is the only regional trade body representing professional chefs and cooks in England's Northwest. Established in 2008, the association works to promote the industry and raise the profile of chef members and food producers in Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Toby Holt, manager of the Northwest office of Berkeley Scott, commented: "The association shares our values and vision for the chef community. As a major supplier of chefs in Manchester, we felt we needed to come together to partner the association with its excellent work."
Berkeley Scott has also offered its career advice service to the entire membership, even to those not registered with the agency.
Shaun Turner, director at Northwest Chefs' Association, added: "It would be inconceivable not to have Berkeley Scott as partners in the association. Together we will add value and serve the chef community very well. I am delighted that they have joined."
