Alpha LSG announces new agreements with Singapore Airlines

Alpha LSG, the airline catering service, has secured a new contract with Singapore Airlines to cater flights out of Manchester Airport.

From 30th October, Alpha LSG will cater five flights each week on a new route operating non-stop from Singapore to Manchester and then continuing on to Houston.

Under the new arrangement the caterer will also cater five return flights from Houston that will stop over at Manchester on route to Singapore.

Meanwhile, Alpha LSG has secured a further extension to its existing contract with Singapore Airlines’ to continue to cater 28 flights each week out of London-Heathrow. 

Richard Wood, managing director of Alpha LSG, said: “We are delighted to announce these new agreements with Singapore Airlines. Outside of Singapore, London-Heathrow is one of their largest operations and we are honoured to be entrusted with catering one of Singapore Airline’s flagship routes.

“Our new contract in Manchester also reflects the strength of our excellent relationship with the airline. Ultimately these new agreements are a testament to the efforts of our culinary experts, who are constantly striving to develop menus which really appeal to Singapore’s customers, and to our entire Alpha LSG team who ensure we deliver the first-class service which all of our customers expect from us.”

Alpha LSG currently supplies nearly a million meals each year across economy, business and first class cabins for passengers travelling on over 1,450 flights on Singapore Airlines services from London-Heathrow.
