The couple have turned the tragedy of the death of their daughter Natasha from a reaction to a food allergen into action that has already helped tighten legislation and is now, through the continuing work of Natasha's Foundation, providing leading research into treatments and potential cures for the life-threatening condition.
Nadim and Tanya are both on Public Sector Catering's (PSC) list of 'most influential' people, and in a special interview with PSC, Nadim said: "We have been campaigning hard to raise allergy awareness in catering and we don't want to go backwards because of inflationary pressures."
And he has urged the public sector to continue to work together on this and other significant issues they face, adding: "The biggest industries never became successful by not collaborating. All the parts of the public food sector need to work together, especially in difficult times, each helping each other."
