Serves: 4 Ingredients 500g jar Uncle Ben’s Hot Curry sauce 125g frozen peas 350g large, peeled prawns, thawed if frozen 2 x 250g pouch of Uncle Ben’s Express Basmati rice
Method 1. Pour the jar of Uncle Ben’s Hot Curry sauce into a medium sized saucepan and heat gently for 3-4 minutes. Add the peas and summer for 2 minutes. Stir in the peeled prawns and simmer for a further 4-5 minutes until completely heated through. 2. Meanwhile, cook the rice pouches in the microwave following the packet cooking instructions. Serve with the Hot Prawn Curry. TOP TIP Make me meaty! Leave out the prawns. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and brown 1 chopped onion and 350g/12oz minced beef or lamb. Pour over the sauce, add the peas and bring to the boil, turn down and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Recipe from Uncle Ben's
