Spicy Pizza Puffs

Ingredients

These can be made up using the pastry straight from the freezer, no need to thaw first INGREDIENTS - per puff · 1 Jus Rol Puff Pastry Oval · 1 generous teaspoonful of tomato purée, passata or pesto · 3 halves of cherry tomato · 2-3 slices of red onion · 3 slices pepperoni or other spicy sausage of your choice · 20g grated mozzarella or other cheese of your choice · Beaten egg to glaze · Basil leaves to garnish – optional

Preparation method

METHOD Preheat oven to 220oC/425oF/Gas M7 1. Lay the pastry oval on a baking sheet, spread the centre with the tomato purée. Top with the cheese, halved tomatoes and chorizo, leaving a border all round edge. 2. Brush border with egg glaze and bake for 12 – 15 minutes until pastry risen around edges and golden. 3.
