Makes approx. 2.2Ltr (4pt) Suggested serving size is a 100g portion Ingredients 1.2kg (2lb 12oz) MAGGI Multi-Use Tomato Sauce 20g (1 scoop) MAGGI Vegetable Bouillon Paste 1Ltr (1¾pt) boiling water pinch sugar freshly chopped basil or parsley (optional)

Preparation method

Method Place the tomato sauce into a large pan. Using a hand blender, blend until smooth. Stir in the bouillon, boiling water and sugar and heat through. Stir in the basil, if using, Tips: Add red lentils, a little cooked, chopped bacon, ground cumin and coriander for a quick spicy bacon and lentil soup. Gently sauté or roast a selection of vegetables and add to the soup for a really hearty meal. Use the soup as a base for other variations. and serve.
