Pork Chops with Bananas, Bacon and Beer

Ingredients 10 X 200g Pork sirloin 3g Cumin 2g Pepper 100mls Lemon juice 100g Butter, softened 5 Large bananas 20 Slices of streaky bacon 500mls Pale Ale

Preparation method

Method Pour the beer into a pan, bring to the boil and reduce to syrup. Add the butter in a pan; add pepper and cumin. Peel bananas and cut in half lengthways. Place on a dish and sprinkle with lemon juice. Wrap two bacon slices around each banana half. Place on skewers, threading through the bacon. Cook the pork steaks on a hot grill, for 15 minutes, turning once. Baste regularly with the beer and butter mix. About 5 minutes before they are cooked add the bacon and bananas and cook on both sides. Turning both the meat and bananas. Serve with sauté potatoes.
