Pork with Beer and Sour Cream

Ingredients 10 X 250g Pork sirloin steaks 20g Garlic cloves, minced 20mls Cooking oil 50g Seasoned flour 300g Button mushrooms, sliced 150g Spring onions, sliced 1g Fresh thyme 250mls Pale Ale

Preparation method

Method Heat 10ml of the oil in a suitably sized pan to a medium low flame, add the garlic and sauté. In the meantime lightly flour the pork steaks and add to the sautéed garlic. Cook until lightly browned on both sides. Remove pork and set aside. In same pan, add the rest of the oil. Sauté the spring onions and mushrooms. Return pork to pan, sprinkle with thyme. Add 100mls of beer and the sour cream and bring to boil. Simmer 12-15 minute, adjust the thickness of the sauce as required. Spoon sauce over meat to serve. Serve with fresh greens and carrots and garnish with a pluche of coriander
