Ingredients: · ½ small onion · 1 Jalapeño · 2 cloves of garlic · 5 roma tomatoes · 60 ml loosely packed fresh cilantro · 1 tbs olive oil · 1 tbs lime juice · ½ tsp salt · ½ tsp garlic powder Additional Equipment: Blender or food processor
Directions: 1. Chop the jalapeños and onion. For a mild salsa leave the vein out, include the veins and seeds for medium to hot salsa. Cut the half of onion into 2cm pieces and put them in the food processor or blender. Then add the 2 cloves of skinned garlic and the 2 prepared jalapeños to the blender and dice the ingredients. 2. Remove the stems from the cilantro and then drop them in the blender. 3. Wash and stem the 5 tomatoes then slice them into eight pieces. 4. Squeeze out one tablespoon of lime juice. 5. In a blender add together: ½ tsp garlic powder · 5 roma tomatoes · 15 ml olive oil · 1 tbs lime juice · ½ tsp salt 6. Finally, dice the ingredients for desired consistency.
