Chewy oat, berry and orange cookies

These nutritious cookies are perfect for nibbling on with a cuppa for a guilt-free snack. Makes: 20 biscuits Preparation time: 15mins Cooking time: 10mins Per Serving: Fat - 4g Cals - 90 Carbs - 10g Ingredients: 100g plain flour 85g rolled oats 50g mixed dried berries 2 tbsp granulated Canderel ½ tbsp finely grated orange zest 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon Pinch of salt 125g low-fat spread, melted 1 tbsp maple syrup 2 egg whites, lightly beaten

Preparation method

Method: Heat the oven to 180C/gas 4. Tip all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Pour over the melted butter. Then add the maple syrup and egg whites and mix everything together. Use a spoon to place dollops of the dough onto a non-stick baking sheet, then smooth with the back of the spoon to form a cookie about 6cm big.
