BBQ Chinese Spare Ribs

Ingredients

Serves 10 Ingredients 30 pork spare ribs 250ml hoi-sin sauce 2Tbs soy sauce 3Tbs honey 1Tbs rice wine vinegar 1tsp Schwartz for Chef Chinese Five Spice 2Tbs Hammonds tomato ketchu

Preparation method

Method 1. Place ribs in a pan, cover with some chicken stock, bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Drain and allow to cool 2. Place the remaining ingredients in a pan, mix together and bring to the boil. Allow the liquid to reduce until it becomes thickened and sticky 3. Place the ribs in a dish and pour the BBQ sauce over them, mixing well. Cover and place in a refrigerator for least 2 hrs to marinade 4.
