Abstract
Artisan-style snacks company Ten Acre has unveiled a new range of free-from popcorn to add to its growing list of products.

The popcorn, which benefits from being gluten, dairy and MSG free as well as vegan and vegetarian, is available in five varieties - Cornelius Popperley’s Sour Cream & Chive, Captain Theodore’s Lime & Sea Salt, Cousin Maisie’s Fennel & Lemon, Ambrose Popperley’s Wasabi and Aunty Winifred’s Sweet & Salty.

Tony Goodman, CEO of Ten Acre, said: “Ever since we launched our premium hand cooked crisps, we knew we wanted to grow our range. In order to do that we also had to expand our wonderful, yet fictional, Ten Acre village. So as we derived new flavours for our popcorn range - we also introduced more characters - The Popperleys - and their amazing adventures.

“It is a Ten Acre custom that each packet has its own story to tell - and that theme continues with our popcorn. This is no ordinary popcorn though. Not only does it grow on trees and is harvested by hand - ahem! - it also maintains that other important and serious Ten Acre tradition. It is dairy, gluten and MSG free, as well as vegan and vegetarian. It is a snack for everyone to enjoy."

The Popcorn is available in 28g bags - Sweet & Salty is available in 30g bags - and all are fewer than 80 calories per serving.

Ten Acre operates under the UK snacks company Yummish Snacks Ltd and all of its products are gluten, dairy and MSG free, kosher, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and are approved by the Halal Food Authority.
