Abstract
The SuperFast Thermapen, the UK’s number-one-selling food thermometer, can measure temperature over the range of -49.9 to +299.9°C. Now the maker, Electronic Temperature Instruments, claims to have it even better.
The new Thermapen 4 has a patented 360° self-rotating display that automatically turns so the user can read the thermometer in any position, in either hand.
When it’s dark, it automatically turns on the backlight to make it easier to read in poorly lit areas, and the motion-sensing sleep mode automatically turns it on or off when the user picks it up or puts it down.
